With over 1 GW of operational projects and a dedicated team of 450 professionals, we aim to expand our capacity to exceed 10 GW. Our expertise encompasses the entire energy production cycle, from initial development to power sales, including financing, construction, operation, and decommissioning.

Qair designs and implements tailored solutions based on both global and local strategies, offering customized financial packages to local authorities and industrial clients.

Position Overview

To facilitate our rapid expansion, we are seeking a Financial Controller to join our team in Potenza, Italy.

Main Responsibilities

  • Conduct financial and analytical accounting.
  • Engage in budgeting processes.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial reports.
  • Manage the administration of active service contracts.
  • Oversee cash flow management.
  • Monitor and report on any accounting discrepancies.
  • Execute month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Collect and analyze financial data.
  • Support the preparation of annual financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
  • Assist the CFO with various tasks, including project financing and Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) activities.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting.
  • Prior professional experience in audit or finance roles within the renewable energy sector or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); knowledge of Sage X3 is advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Italian and a strong command of English; knowledge of French is a plus.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong initiative and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Desire to learn and grow professionally.
