Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior System Engineer Model-Based to join our team at Amaris Consulting. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing aerospace systems using a model-based approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop aerospace systems using model-based systems engineering (MBSE) principles and tools such as SYSML.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including aerospace engineers, physicists, and mathematicians, to ensure that aerospace systems meet project specifications and customer requirements.
  • Develop and maintain system models, including requirements, architecture, and performance analysis.
  • Identify and document system requirements, including functional and performance requirements.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, including system specifications and design documents.
  • Collaborate with other engineers to ensure that system designs meet project specifications and customer requirements.
  • Develop and maintain system test plans and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in model-based systems engineering with SYSML.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with SYSML (IBM Rhapsody, Dassault Cameo, Enterprise Architect, etc.).
  • Experience with requirement management tools such as DOORS and CAMEO.
  • Experience with black-box and white-box analysis using CAMEO.
  • Ability to generate automatically system specifications and design documents from SYSML models using CAMEO.
  • Ability to analyze and adapt the MBSE process for defense projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the aerospace or defense industry.
  • Knowledge of radar systems, command and control systems, and weapon systems.
