Job Description

We are seeking a Cloud Operations System Engineer to join our Cloud Operation Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and monitoring our Cloud Computing platform, managing requests from the delivery/support department, formulating system and performance improvement proposals, and managing IT operations by liaising with outsourced cloud providers.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage and monitor the Cloud Computing platform to ensure optimal performance and availability.
  • Manage requests from the delivery/support department to ensure timely and efficient resolution.
  • Formulate system and performance improvement proposals to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our cloud systems.
  • Manage IT operations from planning to incident/service/change management by liaising with outsourced cloud providers.
  • Interface with various business roles and define a weekly schedule of activities with managers.
Required Skills
  • Experience in configuring and managing Web solutions architectures in complex infrastructures based on Linux and Windows Server operating systems.
  • Managing and monitoring/troubleshooting of AWS, GCP, and Azure platforms.
  • Networking knowledge.
  • Managing and monitoring/troubleshooting DB Engines (Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB, etc.).
  • Configuration and management of monitoring systems (Nagios, etc.).
  • Scripting/programming languages used in Linux and Windows Server (example: BASH, Python, PHP, PowerShell, VBS).
Required Qualifications
  • Diploma or university degree in a technical/computer science field.
  • Relational skills and an aptitude for interpersonal relationships.
  • Proactivity, analytical, and problem-solving expertise.
  • Accuracy and punctuality in handling tasks.
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language.
Work Environment

The work location will be our Bra/Turin office. Sporadic transfers to other Tesisquare Spa offices may be requested.
