Job Overview:

Reporting to: Head of Quality

Objective:

To establish and uphold the Product Assurance (PA) practices that ensure the safety and effectiveness of missions by confirming that products, including materials, mechanical components, and electrical systems, comply with industry standards and all relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define the PA requirements baseline and create necessary documentation in alignment with ECSS Product Assurance standards or equivalent aerospace industry standards for designated programs.
  • Engage with clients and subject matter experts regarding all PA and quality-related matters.
  • Assist in the selection, procurement, monitoring, and qualification of electronic, electrical, and electromechanical (EEE) components while ensuring adherence to applicable requirements.
  • Contribute to the selection of materials and processes, participate in reviews, and prepare comprehensive documentation such as Process Verification Plans, Qualification Plans, and Manufacturing Flow Charts.
  • Oversee the management and resolution of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), waivers, deviations, and alerts.
  • Implement Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Management Indicators (MIPs).
  • Conduct audits of suppliers and internal processes.
  • Participate in significant program milestones and production reviews.
  • Coordinate and execute incoming inspections as required.
  • Provide support to operations and monitor manufacturing activities.

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Engineering, ideally in aerospace, mechanical, electronics, or telecommunications.
  • Strong understanding of ECSS Standards.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 and/or EN 9100 is advantageous.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in the Space and Defence sector is preferred.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in NCR management tools (e.g., NCTS, NC-CAPA, Eclipse, or similar).
  • Knowledge of SAP or similar systems is a plus.

Language Proficiency:

  • Strong command of English, both written and spoken, is essential.
