About the Role

As a key member of ING's team, you will play a crucial role in the development and management of our investment advisory services. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping our digital processes and customer journey strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in complex projects, including cross-country initiatives, related to the development of investment advisory services involving multiple stakeholders and cross-departmental activities.
  • Define business requirements and functional solutions to improve digital processes and customer experience.
  • Oversee the end-to-end implementation process of business initiatives, ensuring seamless execution and timely delivery.
  • Produce regular investment monitoring reports, both business and regulatory, to inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with the investment advisory team to manage ongoing activities and address emerging issues.
  • Support sales channels and provide training sessions to enhance investment advisory services and product distribution.
  • Monitor business performance by distribution channel and identify early warning signals for potential issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with the evolution of the investment advisory market, including distribution models, regulation, and technological advancements, to maintain a competitive and compliant value proposition.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken.
  • Experience in managing and implementing projects related to investment advisory services and products, including mutual funds and insurance-based investment products.
  • Knowledge of discretionary portfolio management and/or private markets/alternative funds is a plus.
  • Proven experience in similar roles, with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
  • Strong knowledge of investment advisory models, including the current regulatory framework.
  • Understanding of financial markets, investment products, and competitors.
  • Experience in managing/leading complex projects.
  • Ability to work in a team and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven planning and organizational skills, with a customer-oriented approach.
  • Ability to produce clear presentations and documents.
