We are seeking a highly skilled System RAMS Engineer to join our team at Hitachi Rail. As a key member of our RAM department, you will be responsible for leading the execution of the RAM Programme for our railway systems, subsystems, and products.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement RAM strategies to ensure compliance with applicable requirements, company guidelines, and industry standards.
- Coordinate with prime contractors and subcontractors/vendors to ensure effective RAM governance.
- Produce RAM analysis and verification reports to ensure design, installation, and commissioning meet RAM requirements.
- Verify and sign off design, installation, and commissioning of all systems/subsystems/products RAM-related requirements.
- Support the Engineering/Product Development team in finalizing design to guarantee maximum reliability and availability.
- Support the Commissioning Manager in identifying and prioritizing activities to ensure minimum RAM performance.
- Perform RAM governance activities, coordination of subsystems RAM referents for each technology involved in the project.
- Contribute to the delivery of systems/subsystems/products in compliance with project/programme schedule and budget.
- 5-10 years of experience in RAMS.
- Knowledge of International Standards applicable to Railway domain (e.g. EN 50126).
- Background in Reliability Engineering in products/systems for industry (Railway, Aerospace,...).
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
- Knowledge of Isograph Reliability Workbench Tool or equivalent.
- Technical Degree or Equivalent Technical Background.
- English (spoken and written) proficiency.
- French or Spanish (spoken and written) knowledge is a plus.
