About the Role

Sidel is seeking a skilled Product Support Automation Specialist to join our Regional Product Support Back Office Team in Parma, Italy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and maintenance for Sidel's Pal and Depal products throughout their entire lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless customer support through various communication channels.
  • Develop and distribute technical documentation for troubleshooting automation issues.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve issues.

Requirements

  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent English language skills and a good level of Italian or French for local integration.
  • Mechanical skills and experience with packaging equipment are a plus.
  • Emergency management skills and ability to interact with other teams.
  • At least 5 years of technical assistance or engineering experience in packaging equipment.
  • Electrical fundamentals and knowledge of PLC platforms, HMI, and motion platforms.
  • Application of root cause analysis methodology for issue resolution.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for communication with technicians, customers, and other stakeholders.
