We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to lead our EU Product Safety and Compliance team at Amazon Italia Services Srl - B97. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and compliance of our products in the EU region.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Execute Product Safety Strategy: Build and execute a comprehensive product safety strategy that aligns with Amazon's global standards and EU regulations.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Partner with various teams, including Legal, Risk Operations, Software Development, and Public Policy, to design and implement policies and processes that protect our customers.
- Lead a Team of Experts: Lead a team of product experts, risk managers, and program managers to identify and mitigate product risks, and ensure compliance with EU regulations.
- Stay Up-to-Date with Regulatory Changes: Monitor and evaluate new product regulations in the UK and Europe, and implement changes as needed to ensure compliance.
- Measure and Improve Product Controls: Develop and implement metrics to measure the effectiveness of our product controls and safety processes, and make recommendations for improvement.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree
- Experience: 2.10+ years of professional experience in program, product, or operations management, and 3.7+ years of experience managing teams.
- Language Proficiency: Business proficiency in English and one of the following languages: French, Spanish, Italian, or German.
