Hardware Obsolescence Specialist

The Hardware Obsolescence Engineer will be responsible for managing the lifecycle of electronic components within the Navigations Air Systems (NAS) domain. This includes analyzing and mitigating the impact of component obsolescence on production and customer support.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate the impact of End of Life (EOL) and Product Change Notification (PCN) on production
- Identify and propose alternative components, leveraging existing data libraries and researching new parts
- Liaise with cross-functional teams to identify suitable solutions
- Contribute to the maintenance of the obsolescence database
- Track and monitor corrective actions throughout the obsolescence management process
- Contribute to process improvements and develop periodic reports on obsolescence status
- Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the obsolescence management process
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (preferably Electronic Engineering)
- Previous experience in electronic component engineering or similar roles
- Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to interface with diverse stakeholders in an international company
- Fluent spoken and written English
- IT proficiency
- Open to challenges and willing to learn
