Randstad Italia Inhouse Services is seeking a Quality Control Engineer for a prominent client in the aerospace sector.

Quality Control plays a crucial role in the aerospace industry, ensuring the precise execution of Assembly, Integration, and Testing activities for Payload, Observation, and Navigation Satellites, in alignment with established company processes and specific program instructions.

The Quality Control Engineer is responsible for verifying that all operators possess the necessary certifications as per the departmental skill matrix and collaborates with the Quality Assurance team regarding product conformity verification.

The primary responsibilities of the role include:

  • Verifying the presence and conformity of documents and equipment referenced in work orders and production documentation.
  • Ensuring that required traceability is accurately recorded.
  • Confirming that all records from previous phases are completed and that any nonconformities are documented.
  • Checking the validity status of the tools and equipment utilized.
  • Conducting checks as per the phase content or applicable general instructions, and documenting the results.
  • Verifying operator certifications.
  • Certifying the produced configuration and ensuring equipment conformity with applicable configurations.
  • Identifying and reporting any physical anomalies, Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), and deviations.
  • Certifying the implementation of decisions related to equipment nonconformities.
  • Ensuring that equipment with anomalies is properly segregated.
  • Preparing and presenting documentation for equipment subject to internal or customer key point inspections.
  • Conducting internal key inspection points when delegated by Quality Assurance.
  • Monitoring limited life items/materials and ensuring proper tracking of residual life.
  • Providing support to Management Review Reports (MRR) and Design Review Boards (DRB) with customers.
  • Certifying cleanliness and contamination levels for flight hardware.
