About the Role
Position Summary
The primary responsibility of this role is to provide essential support to the sales team in achieving revenue targets through the implementation of tailored marketing strategies for our specialized product line. This position also ensures ongoing assistance to the Commercial Management during both pre-sales and post-sales phases to meet organizational goals. Additionally, the role involves enhancing clinical knowledge and the adoption of Werfen's solutions in the local market through educational initiatives, scientific events, and engagement with Key Opinion Leaders.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the pre-sales planning for intricate projects.
- Assist in the sales process by identifying the most appropriate technical solutions for customers, collaborating with various internal teams.
- Deliver product training sessions for field staff and Product Specialists.
- Engage in promotional activities to showcase products to clients.
- Work closely with the Line Manager for Hemostasis to gather market insights essential for product or service development and enhancement.
- Participate in meetings with the sales team and Customer Service to elevate their expertise.
- Plan and coordinate (in partnership with the communications team) scientific events sponsored by Werfen, such as congresses and seminars, to bolster scientific understanding and establish Werfen's solutions as a benchmark in patient diagnostic management.
- Actively engage in scientific days and events to enhance the company's reputation and promote product offerings.
- Maintain regular communication with the sales office to monitor ongoing tenders.
- Organize training sessions for Product Specialists, Area Sales Managers, and Sales Specialists.
- Conduct market research on competitors and customer needs to refine product positioning and market penetration.
Networking and Key Relationships
Relationships will be defined based on departmental needs and may include:
- Internal: Sales, Customer Services, Tenders, Offers, Logistics, Communication, Finance, Quality Assurance, Administration, Human Resources.
- External: Customers, Users, Suppliers, Opinion Leaders, Agencies.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
- Education: University Degree in Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years in a similar role, preferably within the in vitro diagnostics or medical sector.
Additional Knowledge:
- Understanding of the clinical value of IVD tests.
- Familiarity with the operational principles of diagnostic instruments for hemostasis.
- Knowledge of good laboratory practices.
- Proficiency in SAP and Office applications.
- English proficiency at Level B1/B2.
