Job Summary
As a National Underwriting Manager, you will be responsible for developing and managing marine insurance policies and related risks to protect clients from potential risks. You will focus on building and maintaining relationships with clients, supporting them in evaluating, selecting, and implementing insurance coverage.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management
- Manage existing client relationships, propose updated insurance policies, and serve as the primary point of contact in case of need.
- Research and develop relationships with new clients to expand Nacora's business.
- Support the cargo insurance manager in coordinating insurance placements and proactively seeking new business opportunities.
- Promote and assist in the development of new cargo marine insurance product lines.
- Assist in preparing specific marketing materials for insurance products.
- Assist in facilitating and organizing regular global internal training courses.
- Provide support for operational and administrative questions related to the insurance booking system.
- Monitor and collect data on performance results by country.
- Manage and monitor the insurance portfolio of clients, assisting clients on a regular basis.
- Prepare and share an annual insurance summary with clients, providing them with information on policy terms and conditions.
- Collect contractual documentation and ensure compliance.
Requirements
- Professional Experience
- Experience in a similar field.
- Excellent communication skills and strong customer service abilities.
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients and other partners.
- Mental approach focused on finding practical and effective solutions to improve customer service.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and spoken Italian language skills.
- Fluent English language skills.
