Job Description

As a National Nacora Underwriting Marine Manager, you will be part of our Marine team in our Milan, Italy office.

Your Role

This position is part of our Insurance Brokerage department and is responsible for developing and managing transportation and related risk policies, with the goal of protecting clients from potential risks.

You will focus on developing and managing relationships with clients, supporting them in evaluating, selecting, and implementing insurance coverage.

Your Responsibilities
  1. Manage existing client relationships, propose updated insurance policies, and serve as the primary point of contact in case of need.
  2. Research and develop relationships with new clients, with the goal of expanding Nacora's business.
  3. Support the cargo insurance manager in coordinating insurance placements and proactively pursuing new business opportunities.
  4. Promote and assist in the development of new product lines for maritime cargo insurance.
  5. Assist in the launch of new products and identify target business areas.
  6. Assist in preparing specific marketing materials for insurance products.
  7. Assist in facilitating and organizing regular global internal training courses.
  8. Assist and provide support for operational and administrative questions related to the insurance booking system.
  9. Monitor and collect data, performance results for individual countries.
  10. Manage and monitor client insurance portfolios, assisting clients on a regular basis.
  11. Prepare and share annual insurance summaries with clients, providing them with information on policy terms and conditions.
  12. Collect contractual documentation and ensure compliance.
Your Skills and Experiences
  1. Work experience in a similar field.
  2. Excellent communication skills and strong customer service abilities.
  3. Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients and other partners.
  4. Solution-oriented mindset, focused on finding practical and effective solutions to improve customer service.
  5. Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  6. Excellent written and spoken Italian language skills.
  7. Fluent English knowledge.
