The Senior Operations Leader for the Italy E&C Division plays a pivotal role in executing effective processes and best practices throughout the organization. This position is essential for shaping strategic direction, enhancing operational performance, and ensuring compliance, efficiency, and profitability across various business activities. The Senior Operations Leader will oversee the Engineering, Project Management, and Manufacturing Departments, which specialize in the design and production of pressure equipment such as heat exchangers, reactors, and towers for the Refining, Petrochemical, Fertilizer, and Oil & Gas sectors.
Key Responsibilities Include...
Establishing a clear vision and direction for your teams, acting as a genuine leader, mentor, and advisor. Making critical decisions regarding budget distribution and resource management to foster a supportive environment. Spearheading initiatives for continuous improvement and operational excellence to boost sales, generate leads, identify market opportunities, and enhance team efficiencies. Crafting and executing operational strategies and procedures, ensuring that all activities are conducted in a suitable and cost-effective manner. Defining strategic and operational goals in line with organizational standards, while preparing and implementing long-term business plans. Setting and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), preparing reports, and ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and legal standards. Analyzing financial data to enhance profitability, managing budgets, and forecasting future financial performance. Promoting professional development and career advancement within your teams, ensuring that team members possess the necessary skills and motivation through effective leadership, coaching, and ongoing feedback. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination and communication across various departments. Exemplifying the company's mission, vision, and values. Performing additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.Qualifications & Skills Required...
A degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related discipline. Extensive experience (over 10 years) in a similar role within the metalworking or manufacturing sector. A solid understanding of organizational effectiveness and operations management. Familiarity with business and financial principles. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing methodologies. Proficient in English communication. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Familiarity with IT tools. Demonstrated leadership and team-building capabilities.
