KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Director of Design Engineering for High Performance Power, this accomplished leader will engage and inspire engineering talent, establish and communicate deliverables, allocate resources effectively, enhance design processes, and drive results. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in the following areas:

  • Extensive experience managing teams focused on Power, Analog, and mixed-signal IC design, utilizing top-down design methodologies.
  • Promoting best practices and discipline throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • A proactive, collaborative, and inventive approach to innovation and technical development, fostering consensus to achieve optimal project outcomes.
  • Experience in designing switching regulator circuits for automotive applications, emphasizing high efficiency, high power density, and mixed-signal content.
  • A solid grasp of EMI mitigation techniques, power supply applications, and digital design verification processes.
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and deliver results punctually while managing resources across various global locations.
  • A proven history of steering successful projects from initial concept through to production.
  • Managing relationships with universities to drive recruitment and mentor emerging talent.
  • Willingness to travel internationally and domestically as needed.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or a Master's degree (MSEE preferred) with a minimum of 8 years of experience in analog/mixed-signal IC design.
  • Deep understanding of Analog IC Design principles.
  • Prior experience managing both internal and external teams on a global scale is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills to articulate ideas and concepts clearly.
  • Excellent management capabilities with the ability to engage with individuals at all organizational levels.
