We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Internal Audit function. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing compliance and risk management methodologies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the Internal Audit Function: Develop and implement compliance and risk management methodologies and procedures to ensure the effectiveness of our internal controls.
- Develop the Annual Audit Plan: Utilize risk-based methodologies to identify areas of focus for our audit program.
- Lead Audit and Compliance Plans: Develop, manage, and execute audit and compliance plans to ensure timely and effective results.
- Perform Audits and Investigations: Conduct audits and investigations in various areas, including IT audit, compliance, and risk management.
- Present Results and Recommendations: Communicate audit findings and recommendations to top management and the board of directors.
- Coordinate Policy and Procedure Development: Assist in the development and updating of policies, procedures, and company operating instructions.
- Support Governance and Risk Management: Act as an internal consultant for governance, risk management, and control activities for top management and the board of directors.
- Coach and Mentor Team Members: Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure their professional development and success.
- Education: Master's degree in economics, computer science, or engineering, or an equivalent degree.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in internal audit, compliance, and IT audit.
- Skills and Qualifications: Excellent knowledge of international standards for internal auditing, IT and cybersecurity auditing, and management systems standards. Professional certifications such as CIA, CISA, and lead auditor ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 are a plus.
- Language Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills in English and Italian.
- Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel.
