About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Project Manager to join our team at Hitachi Vantara Corporation. As an Associate Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading the execution of small projects with low complexity and ensuring that all related activities are executed in accordance with company procedures, contract specifications, quality standards, health, safety & environment requirements, cost/profitability targets, and scheduling targets.

Your Key Responsibilities

  1. Project Planning and Execution
  • Define project plan documents, including scope and financial plans, schedule, and risk management plans, in collaboration with the Project Controls department.
  • Ensure project execution adheres to best practices and company policies, effectively monitoring and controlling project progress and resource utilization.
  • Oversee project financials, including invoicing status, cost, expenses, and cash flow, and identify and manage risk.
Contract and Claims Management
  • Ensure project compliance with contract and claims management policies and contractual agreements.
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain Management to procure required services, materials, and equipment from external and internal suppliers.
  • Support Supply Chain Management in negotiations, claims, and project changes.
Stakeholder Management
  • Act as key contact for the customer and an escalation point for project issues.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and effectively communicate with all stakeholders.
Health, Safety, and Environment
  • Ensure project compliance with company health, safety, and environmental policies.

Your Background

  • Engineering degree (preferably Electrical or Management);
  • Excellent knowledge of English language;
  • Good problem-solving and communication skills;
  • Certification PMI/PMP is a plus;
  • SAP knowledge is a plus;
  • Previous experience in Project management of at least 2-3 years is nice to have.
