ELECTRONICS MECHANIC Location: Vicenza, Italy Position Overview

We invite applications for the role of Electronics Mechanic. This position is open to qualified internal candidates and may also consider external applicants based on merit.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Installation, maintenance, and repair of Joint Services Interior Intrusion Detection Systems (JSIIDS).
  • Conducting operational tests and performing maintenance on digital control and monitoring systems associated with HVAC and electrical systems.
  • Executing repairs on medium and low voltage electrical systems, including co-generators and fire detection systems.
  • Utilizing various testing instruments to assess equipment performance under diverse environmental conditions.
  • Maintaining detailed records of maintenance activities and preparing formal reports as necessary.
  • Installing and repairing underground electrical distribution systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Directing the work of others when required and providing guidance on specific tasks.
Qualifications

To be considered for this position, applicants must demonstrate:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of equipment assembly, installation, and repair.
  • Proficiency in using testing equipment and understanding electronic theory.
  • Ability to effectively utilize hand and power tools for electronic applications.
  • Capability to propose and implement innovative methods for troubleshooting electronic systems.
Evaluation Criteria

Applicants will be evaluated based on their relevant experience and educational background as outlined in their application. Certifications related to electronic systems are required to be submitted with the application.
