Position Summary:

In the role of Finance Manager, you will be integral to the daily accounting functions of our Italian subsidiary. Your responsibilities will include collaboration with the US GAAP accounting team located in the United States and providing necessary support to the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented finance professional eager to contribute to our organization's growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and maintenance of the general ledger.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with Italian statutory requirements and US GAAP.
  • Coordinate with the US GAAP accounting team to reconcile intercompany transactions and support the consolidation process.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
  • Support the FP&A team in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, with a particular focus on cash outflow projections.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in a multinational environment.
  • 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance roles, ideally within a multinational corporation.
  • Strong understanding of Italian statutory accounting principles.
  • Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools; proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Effective communication skills with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic setting, showcasing adaptability and flexibility.
