The successful candidate will be responsible for creating documents and deliverables assigned by the Group Leader related to Material & Work Quantities Estimation & Management tasks, ensuring adherence to quality standards, budget constraints, and timelines. The Junior Engineer will report directly to the Group Leader, a Specialist, or an Engineer regarding the quality of the outputs.

This role involves handling tasks of varying technical complexity, requiring different skill levels; the individual will receive guidance from the Group Leader to enhance their competencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the quality of deliverables and their alignment with contractual and company standards, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Maintain a historical database for Instrumentation quantities.
  • Prepare and manage Work Requisition documentation in collaboration with the Construction/subcontracting department.
  • Support Project Leaders in preparing offers and executing projects.
  • Collaborate with the Group Leader/Specialist to verify quantities and compare instrumentation materials and activities on-site.
  • Estimate materials and labor during the bidding phase, following the Group Leader's guidelines.
  • Conduct accounting for materials and labor, ensuring correct application of measurement methods and subcontractor charges.
  • Provide current estimates of materials and labor during the engineering phase, based on data and information from the Project Leader.
  • Facilitate technical training as per departmental needs and share experiences with colleagues across the Tecnimont Group regarding new design techniques.
  • Stay informed about technical advancements in the discipline.

Personal Attributes:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or a high school diploma in a technical discipline.
  • Team-oriented mindset, proactive attitude, and a strong desire to learn.
  • Ability to navigate uncertainties in the market.
  • Problem-solving orientation.
  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
  • Willingness to travel for short and extended periods, both domestically and internationally.
