Overview:
Role Summary
This internship position will collaborate closely with the Associate Manager of Regional Transportation HQ Europe, providing essential support for the daily management of transportation operations.
The intern will engage with various supply chain departments, including Logistics Operations, Supply Planning, Customer Fulfillment, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Global Trade Compliance, while also coordinating with external 4PL partners.
Team/Department Insight
Reporting to the Manager of EMEA Logistics Capabilities, this role will assist the regional team in enhancing overall cost efficiency and performance, as well as preparing for routine assessments and meetings (such as Regional Logistics KPI Review and EMEA communication sessions).
Key Responsibilities:
The Logistics Intern will support the team and gain insights into managing the following tasks:
Conduct ad hoc data analysis to uncover actionable insights aimed at enhancing service and reducing costs. Prepare routine settings and presentations (including PowerPoint decks). Assist Project Managers with strategic initiatives. Ensure that all approved New Product Developments align with logistics opportunities as per functional guidelines. Address daily operational challenges that affect effective distribution. Contribute to monthly freight analysis to support SF/ODE meetings. Facilitate cross-functional efforts to secure transportation capacity during peak times. Provide daily updates on delivery dates within SAP. Aid in data collection and root cause analysis for Weekly and Monthly Operational Reviews. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service KPIs. Assist with primary freight monthly analysis.Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Economics, Industrial Management Engineering, or Engineering Management. Limited experience in logistics or supply chain (approximately 6 months). Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and SAP.Desired Attributes:

Ability to effectively present data and leverage it for continuous improvement. Competence in managing complexity and ambiguity. Proficiency in English (speaking, writing, and reading).
