About the Role

As a key member of the Waterton team, the Maintenance Operations Manager will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our properties. This position requires a strong leader who can motivate and guide a team of maintenance associates to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and direct maintenance associates to ensure timely and accurate completion of service requests.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment and fixtures.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Collaborate with the Community Manager to prepare budgets for maintenance operations, capital improvements, and property upgrades.
  • Partner with the Community Manager to recruit, train, and develop maintenance team members.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; EPA-CFC certification and EPA-LBP certification for properties older than 1978.
  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent customer service skills and team leadership abilities.
  • Apartment maintenance experience preferred.
