Your Role

As a Safety Assurance Engineer at Alstom, you will be responsible for performing and ensuring the activities related to safety assurance in our projects. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Performing all safety assurance activities on the project under the supervision of a Safety Assurance Manager
  • Ensuring compliance with safety processes and procedures
  • Managing hazard logs and reviewing RAM, Cyber, V&V, and T&C activities from a safety perspective
  • Defining safety plans and building safety reports and cases
  • Applying safety assurance methodologies and risk acceptance criteria
  • Attending periodic safety reviews and defending safety case argumentations

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An engineering degree (preferably in Electronic Engineering) or similar
  • Knowledge of Cenelec Standards for Safety (or equivalent standards if needed) and safety methodology and concepts
  • Successful experience in RAMS/Functional Safety Assurance is an asset
  • English language proficiency in reading and writing for technical documentation
