About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Underwriter Office (CUO) to join our Surety Agents team at Zurich Australian Insurance Ltd.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and quote risks for surety bonds;
  • Meet with intermediaries and clients to discuss coverage proposals or renewals;
  • Manage ongoing agreements;
  • Deliver training sessions to insurance intermediaries;
  • Collaborate with the Region to report on risks exceeding local autonomy;
  • Develop and maintain relationships with intermediaries and clients;
  • Meet deadlines;
  • Organize work efficiently.

Requirements

  • Law degree or Economics;
  • At least 3 years of experience in the insurance industry as a Surety Underwriter;
  • Excellent knowledge of Word, XLS, and PowerPoint applications;
  • Excellent written and spoken English;
  • Proactivity;
  • Ability to work in a team.
