Job Title: Permitting Associate

About Us: Worldwide Recruitment Energy is a leading energy consulting firm with a global presence. Our team specializes in international recruitment for funds, developers, consulting firms, public service companies, equipment manufacturers, EPC contractors, and OM companies.

Our Expertise: Our main sectors include solar photovoltaic energy, onshore wind energy, offshore wind energy, biomass, hydroelectric energy, energy efficiency, and oil and gas.

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated individual to play a key role in managing our Project Development team in Italy. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the development of projects in Italy, primarily in assigned regions, and reporting to the Development Manager in Italy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Authorization: Manage the entire authorization phase, including document preparation and permit acquisition.
  • Project Planning: Plan and coordinate project activities, including sequencing, resource allocation, and duration estimation.
  • Technical and Administrative Support: Provide technical and administrative support for all agrivoltaic and photovoltaic conditions until Ready to Build.
  • Standard Compliance: Ensure adherence to company standards and applicable regulatory requirements for design, engineering, and other aspects.
  • Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with landowners, communities, and public relations regarding the project.
  • Due Diligence: Support technical due diligence.
  • Project Handover: Ensure a smooth transition of Ready to Build projects to the execution phase.
  • ESG Policy Implementation: Support the implementation of the company's ESG policy at the local level, in accordance with current standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Anti-Corruption Practices: Ensure maximum compliance with anti-corruption practices and maintain relationships with all interested parties.

Requirements:

  • Education: Degree in Engineering or Law (valuable experience in the energy sector).
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in the energy sector, preferably in project development.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of solar and BESS project development in Italy, excellent communication skills, and ability to work in a team.
  • Language: Fluent in Italian and English, Spanish is a plus.
