Position Overview

We seek enthusiastic and skilled software developers to contribute to the creation and maintenance of our cutting-edge video intelligence solutions. You will collaborate with driven and seasoned developers as we strive to set industry benchmarks.

The selected candidate will join an established team, engaging in the development of next-generation high-performance video applications, utilizing shared resources across cloud and embedded systems.

Under local supervision, the candidate will receive regular feedback on completed tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and debug applications using .NET (C#);
  • Integrate .NET applications with Web Services (SOAP) and media streaming services, utilizing standard audio and video codecs (e.g., H.264, MPEG4, AAC) over proprietary transport layers;
  • Enhance existing C# components for video platforms;
  • Collaborate with J2EE components within our enterprise-level solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering;
  • Minimum of one year of relevant professional experience;
  • Proficient in .NET (C#) development using MS-Visual Studio and WPF;
  • Familiarity with responsive UI design principles;
  • Experience with Web Services / SOAP / REST client-server architecture;
  • Solid understanding of Software Version Control Systems (Git, Subversion, etc.) and best practices;
  • Experience in an Agile software development environment (SCRUM);
  • Knowledge of object-oriented design and design patterns;
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
  • Fluency in Italian and English.
  • Desirable: Familiarity with .NET Maui UI cross-platform framework;
  • Desirable: Understanding of networking protocols and tools (e.g., TCP/IP, HTTP, RTSP/RTP, Wireshark, Fiddler).
