Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers through courteous and professional interactions, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Efficient Repairs: Utilize specialized tools and adhere to documented procedures to complete less complex engine repairs in a timely and accurate manner, minimizing customer downtime.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance activities diligently to prevent engine failures and extend the lifespan of customer equipment, providing long-term value.
  • Issue Escalation: Identify and escalate unresolved issues promptly to ensure customers receive swift and effective solutions from more experienced technicians or supervisors.
  • Accurate Documentation: Complete required documentation meticulously to ensure proper record-keeping for service history, warranty claims, and quality assurance, supporting operational efficiency.
  • Service Opportunities: Identify and communicate additional service opportunities to increase business and provide better customer support, contributing to company growth.
  • Ongoing Training: Engage in continuous training to enhance your skills and knowledge, enabling you to perform your duties more effectively and adapt to evolving business needs.
  • Safety and Compliance: Adhere to Health, Safety & Environmental policies and report any issues to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues, maintaining compliance with legislation.
Qualifications
  • Vocational diploma from a relevant technical institution.
  • Apprentice-trained power generation or electrical technician with relevant electrical certification is preferred.
  • Fluency in Italian and English.
  • Locally valid driving permit and potential licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience
  • Modest field service work experience with a background in electrical, electro-mechanical, or mechatronics.
  • Intermediate-level knowledge of or experience with engine or power generation products.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and a customer service-oriented approach.
  • Experience working collaboratively in a team environment.
