Overview

As a vital member of the finance department, the Accounting Admin Assistant will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of financial records. This position focuses on ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company policies while managing the ACR and ACP processes related to transactions outside the EU and import activities, in close cooperation with the Sales team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately and promptly record supplier cost invoices;
  • Ensure precise matching of purchase vouchers for goods;
  • Prepare financial statements and reports that reflect the current accounting status;
  • Establish a clear and organized system for administration, documentation, and information;
  • Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to address discrepancies, resolve billing concerns, and follow up on payments;
  • Review and post cash receipts;
  • Process incoming orders efficiently, maintaining an up-to-date order file.

Candidate Profile

  • Educational background in accounting or administration;
  • 1-2 years of experience in a financial setting, particularly in accounts payable and receivable;
  • Familiarity with import processes is advantageous;
  • Strong customer service orientation;
  • Proficient communication skills in both Italian and English, written and verbal;
  • Competence in Office applications (Excel) and ERP systems, preferably JD Edwards Enterprise One;
  • Experience in an international corporate environment is preferred;
  • Analytical mindset with a critical approach;
  • Ability to identify core issues and develop practical solutions with a hands-on attitude;
  • Attention to detail, quality, and accuracy;
  • Methodical work style with a focus on precision.
