Job Summary:

Hirebridge is seeking a skilled Prep Cook - Culinary Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food ingredients and assisting in the execution of our culinary vision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare ingredients for menu items, including chopping, slicing, and dicing
  • Assist in the preparation of menu items, including cooking, sautéing, and seasoning
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and presentation
  • Participate in menu planning and development, providing input on ingredient selection and preparation techniques

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a commercial kitchen environment
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen equipment and tools, including knives, slicers, mixers, stoves, and ovens
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends
