Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Service Representative to join our team at Franklin Electric. As a Field Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing technical support and service to our customers in the water systems industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical service and support to customers in the assigned territory, including troubleshooting and repair of water systems products.
  • Guide customers through the installation and testing of Franklin Electric water systems products.
  • Represent Franklin Electric at on-site installation meetings to resolve field issues and provide technical expertise.
  • Present technical seminars to customers and industry professionals to promote Franklin Electric products and services.
  • Represent Franklin Electric at trade shows and special events to promote products and services.
  • Write and submit weekly reports to highlight problems and issues at customer sites.
  • Provide specialized training to customers on Franklin Electric products and services.
Requirements
  • Working knowledge of water systems and products, including pumps, motors, drives, and controls.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with outstanding organizational skills.
  • Previous sales or service experience preferred.
  • Self-motivated and energetic personality with a desire to provide excellent customer service.
  • Effectively communicates information and responds to questions in person-to-person and small group situations.
  • Maintains confidentiality and uses discretion with business information.
  • Reads and understands documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Deals with problems involving several known variables in situations of routine nature.
  • Plans the time, method, manner, and/or performance sequence of own work.
  • Defines problems, collects data, establishes facts, and draws valid conclusions.
Education and Experience
  • High school technical diploma, electronics specialization.
  • ITS electronic specialization (preferred).
  • No specific experience is necessary, but relevant coursework or internships can be beneficial.
