Baxter is embarking on a strategic initiative to separate its ~$5B Kidney Care segment into a standalone company, Vantive. This new entity will build on our nearly 70-year legacy in acute therapies and home and in-center dialysis to provide best-in-class care to patients worldwide.

Your Role at Baxter

The Senior Manager Fulfillment Services will serve as the KidneyCo relationship manager for Baxter's fulfillment related services. This includes ensuring bi-directional services are provided per the agreement(s), driving the closure of Manufacturing Services Agreements (MSAs) and Transition Services Agreements (TSAs), and overseeing risk, discrepancies, and issue resolution between the parties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of the fulfillment services relationship for KidneyCo and Baxter, acting as the relationship lead for KidneyCo for the region or distribution centers assigned.
  • Strive to meet or exceed business needs relating to quality, delivery, and cost, including ensuring continuity of supply and cost management.
  • Function as a liaison between KidneyCo Quality Control, Quality Assurance, and Supply Chain, including Planning and Manufacturing.
  • Support and advise critical initiatives and contract negotiations that drive long-term relationship stability and success.
  • Lead and support business review meetings or other governance structures with Baxter to drive continuous improvement, assisting in developing metrics to analyze performance.
  • Support Finance in enabling and managing the invoice for products and services, including tracking and issue resolution.
  • Drive closure of short-term MSAs or TSAs and manage the associated discontinuation process and costs, coordinating with Legal and Finance when an extension is required.
  • Identify and drive opportunities for efficiency and capacity improvements.
  • Will travel as needed, maintaining training status on KidneyCo specific work instructions and SOPs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education and 7 years of experience required.
  • Experience in Pharmaceuticals and/or Medical Device supply chain is preferred.
  • Demonstrated track record of effective leadership in a fulfillment or delivery setting, including issue resolution and building win-win solutions.
  • Strong communication skills (oral, written, and interpersonal) and the ability to proactively identify and recommend solutions to problems.
  • Ability to communicate problems in terms understandable to all levels of the organization, including C-Suite.
  • Breadth of knowledge across pharmaceutical and medical device supply chain, Quality Systems, and regulatory requirements.
  • Financial acumen, including cost management, with experience managing department Capital and Operating Expense budgets.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills needed to manage multiple ongoing projects simultaneously.
