Job Title: Ethics Associate - Office Manager

Job Summary:

The Ethics Associate - Office Manager will provide administrative support to the Ethics Office, ensuring the smooth operation of the office and the delivery of high-quality services to staff. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the office and provide administrative support to the Ethics Office team
  • Provide information and guidance to staff on ethics-related matters
  • Coordinate the Annual Disclosure Programme and other ethics-related initiatives
  • Assist with the development and implementation of ethics training and communication materials
  • Provide administrative support for the Ethics Office's budget and financial management
  • Perform other administrative tasks as required

Requirements:

  • Secondary school education
  • Five years of relevant experience in office support work
  • Working knowledge of English and limited knowledge of another FAO official language
  • Good knowledge of MS Office applications and office technology equipment

Desirable Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience in dealing with confidential matters
  • Ability to work independently and with utmost discretion
  • Ability to extract, interpret, and analyze data and resolve operational problems
  • Strong IT skills, including working with various Microsoft applications

Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will be based in the Ethics Office at FAO headquarters in Rome, Italy. The position is a fixed-term appointment for one year with the possibility of extension.
