About the Role:

Vestas is seeking a highly skilled HSE Trainee to join our team and contribute to creating a more sustainable world. As an HSE Trainee, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental sustainability of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain local HSE documents, including risk assessments, HSE plans, emergency response plans, and customer-specific procedures.
  • Update and maintain the HSE database to ensure accurate and timely information.
  • Design and deliver HSE training programs, including basic safety training required by local regulations.
  • Support the development and implementation of a "Zero Incident Culture" within the organization.
  • Collaborate with the QSE team to provide support and expertise on quality, safety, and environmental matters.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in a scientific field, such as Environmental or Safety Engineering.
  • Fluent English language skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of HSE standards, best practices, quality ISO standards, concepts, processes, and procedures.
  • Expertise in hazard job site assessment, risk assessments, incident investigation, and root cause analysis.
  • Ability to develop and implement processes and procedures, including comprehensive HSE plans.

Competencies:

  • Proven communication skills at all levels, from site to boardroom.
  • Ability to coordinate and prioritize tasks, work efficiently, and adapt to new and changing situations.
  • Solid interpersonal, computer, presentation, and collaboration skills.
  • Competence in HSE legislation and waste regulation.
