About the Role

At Vertiv Co, we're on a mission to empower the people that will power the future. Our team is responsible for designing, manufacturing, and servicing the products and solutions that keep the world connected. We're looking for a skilled Thermodynamic Engineer to join our Engineering - ETO Chiller team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design new products or improve existing ones based on specific client needs, balancing quality, time, and cost targets with market, production, and industrialization requirements.
  • Develop offers for special products, ensuring quality, time, and cost targets are met.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing department on feasibility and quotation phases for special units.
  • Interface with other departments and work with Application Engineers, SFA Managers, and the Chief HPAC RD Engineer.
  • Ensure compliance with international trade controls and legal regulations for product trade.
  • Contribute to new RD projects in data center cooling for high-profile global customers as needed.
  • Approve and review product documentation, including CAD drawings, specifications, and bills of materials.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of thermodynamics and refrigeration principles.
  • Understanding of refrigerant, hydraulic, and mechanical components of chillers and air conditioning unit construction.
  • Familiarity with technical norms and management computer systems.
  • Proficiency in technical drawings.
  • Fluent in English (speaking, reading, and writing).
  • Decision-making and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a Thermo-Technical specialization.
  • 3-5 years of experience, preferably in the HVAC sector.
