Position Summary: We are looking for a proficient IT Network Engineer who will be tasked with overseeing and enhancing our enterprise network framework. The ideal candidate will ensure the deployment of secure and effective networking solutions while providing essential support for network-related inquiries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and maintain the enterprise network framework, including switches, routers, and firewalls.
- Configure and fine-tune routing protocols to guarantee optimal and dependable network performance.
- Implement and manage secure networking solutions, such as SDWAN and IPsec tunnels.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in network architecture and security.
- Provide assistance for network-related challenges, troubleshooting issues, and resolving them promptly.
- Acquaint yourself with the current network environment and infrastructure.
- Create, update, and maintain comprehensive documentation for network systems, processes, and procedures.
- Collaborate with fellow IT professionals to enhance network performance and security.
- Stay informed about the latest industry trends and technologies to continually advance our network infrastructure.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in enterprise networking and routing.
- Expertise in SDWAN and IPsec tunnel configurations.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards and best practices in network security and design.
- Familiarity with Cisco Meraki and/or Palo Alto is advantageous.
- Experience in providing network-related support and troubleshooting network issues.
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the capability to create and maintain detailed documentation.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to adapt to a dynamic IT environment.
- Relevant certifications are a plus.
