At Dedalus, a prominent player in the Digital Healthcare sector, we are seeking a proactive and driven Application Solution Architect to become a vital part of our expanding team.
This position is crucial in aligning customer requirements with our comprehensive digital healthcare offerings. You will be instrumental in crafting end-to-end solutions that are not only economically viable but also surpass customer expectations. As an Application Solution Architect, your role will encompass both the presales and implementation phases, ensuring that our solutions are meticulously designed, thoroughly documented, and effectively executed in accordance with our organizational objectives.

In this capacity, your responsibilities will include:

During the presales phase, gathering customer requirements and architecting comprehensive solutions that leverage Dedalus's extensive portfolio. Establishing standard, repeatable, and sustainable solutions that can be pre-validated internally prior to sales. You will develop and maintain architectural blueprints and integration diagrams to effectively communicate design and implementation strategies both internally and to clients. Optimizing service quotes based on established constraints while identifying potential technical risks and collaborating with stakeholders to devise effective mitigation strategies. Acting as a technical advisor during the implementation phase, facilitating the transition from sales to delivery and providing guidance to the technical team throughout the project lifecycle. Fostering strong relationships with global Product Business Units (PBUs), sharing your field insights, and collaborating with presales to influence product roadmaps and prioritize features based on regional requirements. This includes conducting regular meetings and workshops with PBUs to ensure alignment, particularly for complex cross-domain solutions. Keeping abreast of industry standards and emerging technologies, evaluating their implications for our solutions, and assessing potential technological partnerships.

Required Qualifications

B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Engineering, Science, or Economics, preferably in Biomedical Engineering or Health Informatics, or equivalent relevant experience. In-depth understanding of healthcare processes, supported by relevant hands-on experience in at least one of the following areas: EMR, EHR, IVD, PAS, Territorial Solutions, or Telemedicine. Previous experience in technical customer-facing roles within presales engineering, solution architecture, or solution delivery.

​Technical Proficiencies:

Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards, including HL7v2, FHIR, IHE, and a solid understanding of medical coding systems such as ICD 9/10, LOINC, and SNOMED-CT. Familiarity with communication protocols and architectural styles (HTTP SOAP, HTTP REST, TCP/IP). Preferred certifications in PMI, Prince2, ITIL, AgilePM, Cobit, TOGAF. Basic understanding of AGID, ACN, and GDPR regulations. Basic knowledge of Unix systems and both relational and non-relational databases. Basic understanding of medical device regulations (MDR) and associated documentation. Proven experience with cloud and on-premises infrastructure technologies and architectures.

Effective communication skills with a strong passion for documentation, in both Italian and English. Project management approach with exceptional stakeholder management and interpersonal skills to cultivate strong partnerships with clients, technical teams, and business partners. Team-oriented attitude with a strong desire to continuously acquire new knowledge and skills.
