Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Manager to join our team in Milan. As a Technical Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading the development of technical solutions for our clients in the Transmission Segment, specifically in the Submarine Power Cable business.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead Technical Interaction with Clients: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their technical requirements and provide tailored solutions.
  • Develop Technical Solutions: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement technical solutions that meet client needs and company offerings.
  • Coordinate Engineering Departments: Lead and coordinate engineering departments, other business units, and affiliates to prepare and deliver technical packages.
  • Prepare and Harmonize Technical Packages: Gather and optimize costs, develop new offering concepts, and assess project risks.
  • Manage Sales and Technical Concepts: Track and manage IMR sales and technical concepts, and visit customers to understand their challenges and needs.
  • Develop and Manage Databases: Establish and manage databases, procedures, and regular reports related to market and competitor activities.
  • Act as Project Manager: Manage short-term activities, such as inspections, and hand over to execution teams.
  • Implement Improvement Actions: Define and implement improvement actions based on lessons learned outputs.

Requirements

  • Dynamic and Fast-Paced Environment: Thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, managing complex projects and analyzing data to present in different forms.
  • Leadership Skills: Lead and manage engineering and technical teams across the organization.
  • Quick Learner: Be a quick learner with effective time management and technical skills, able to meet deadlines and work autonomously.
  • Travel Requirements: Travel up to 30-40% depending on specific situations.
