We are seeking a Chef de Partie Tournant to join our kitchen brigade in a Luxury 5-Star Hotel.This is a highly operational and versatile role, ideal for a strong culinary professional able to support and replace station chefs across all kitchen sections. The role ensures continuity, consistency, and excellence throughout every service. The Tournant is a key point of reference during peak operations, combining technical expertise, adaptability, and leadership to uphold the highest culinary standards.Key ResponsibilitiesCulinary Operations & QualityWork across all kitchen sections as required (hot, cold, pastry, banqueting, breakfast)Ensure consistency in food preparation, plating, timing, and presentationOversee mise en place and maintain operational standards while covering sectionsEnsure full compliance with recipes, portioning, hygiene, and HACCP standards Service & Guest ExperienceSupport smooth service during peak periods, events, and banquetsUphold culinary excellence and guest satisfaction across all outletsRespond promptly to service feedback in collaboration with the Sous Chef Financial & SustainabilityApply portion control and waste reduction practicesSupport efficient use of ingredients, stock rotation, and inventory controlPromote sustainable practices and responsible use of seasonal products Leadership & Team SupportAct as a role model for junior team members (Commis, Apprentices)Support training, onboarding, and knowledge sharing across sectionsEncourage teamwork, communication, and a positive kitchen culture Innovation & CollaborationContribute ideas during menu development and seasonal rotationsSupport tastings, promotions, and themed eventsCollaborate closely with the Sous Chef and Executive Chef across all operations Candidate ProfilePrevious experience as Chef de Partie or strong Demi Chef de Partie in quality or luxury kitchensHigh technical versatility with solid knowledge across multiple kitchen sectionsAbility to adapt quickly, work under pressure, and maintain consistencyStrong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and a team-oriented mindsetA professional who embodies values of care, respect, integrity, inclusion, and continuous learning
