Before you apply, please read through our Cultural Manifesto JOB TITLESenior Analytics Engineer – Growth & AcquisitionLOCATIONFull remote (Italy, Spain, France, UK, Germany or Switzerland) or Hybrid (Milan)TYPE OF CONTRACTPermanentSALARY RANGE47‑55KWHAT’S THE JOB?Act as a strategic analytics partner to Performance Marketing, Growth, and CRM teams, proactively identifying risks, opportunities, and areas for optimization.Define and standardize core marketing and growth metrics (e.g. CAC, ROAS, LTV), ensuring consistency across dashboards, analyses, and teams.Lead end‑to‑end funnel and channel analyses to optimize marketing spend, assess incremental impact, and inform budget allocation and growth strategy.Own the design, development, and maintenance of analytics‑ready data models and robust data pipelines supporting demand, acquisition, performance marketing, and CRM use cases.Contribute to the evolution of the analytics engineering stack, ensuring data quality, documentationnaming conventions, and testing across marketing datasets.Design, evaluate, and interpret A/B and multivariate tests across digital marketing and CRM channels (including Braze), ensuring methodological rigor and clear business recommendations.Collaborate with Data Engineers to improve ingestion, tracking, and instrumentation of marketing and CRM data sources.WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE4/5+ years of experience in analytics, analytics engineering, or data roles, with significant exposure to marketing, growth, or CRM data.Strong SQL skills and experience building production‑grade data models in cloud data warehouses (BigQuery, PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.).Proven experience designing clean, well‑structured tables that serve as the source of truth for business reporting and analysis.Deep understanding of marketing and acquisition metrics, including their limitations, trade‑offs, and appropriate use in decision‑making (CAC, ROAS, CPM, CTR, conversion rates, attribution models).Experience working with stakeholders to translate business logic into scalable and reusable data transformations.Analytical rigor and curiosity: you love digging into data, understanding customer behavior, and telling compelling stories with your insights.Ability to operate autonomously, manage multiple stakeholders (across Marketing, CRM, and Product), and balance short‑term business needs with long‑term data foundations.Fluent in English.BONUS POINTS FOR HAVINGExperience with modern analytics engineering tools (e.g. dbt or similar transformation frameworks).Experience modeling data from marketing platforms (Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, affiliates).Experience with customer engagement platforms such as Braze (campaign analysis, segmentation, journey KPIs).Proficiency in Python for data analysis (pandas, NumPy, scikit‑learn, matplotlib).Experience with computational notebooks (Deepnote, JupyterLab, Hex).Knowledge of A/B testing frameworks and statistical concepts.Familiarity with analytics and tagging tools such as GA4 and Google Tag Manager.YOU WILL LOVE WORKING AT WEROAD IFYou are ambitious, want to build and be part of something huge, growing faster than you thought possible.You love travel and want to join a young, smart, and fun team of people who love it, too.You prefer adventure instead of daily routine and love working in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.You are an entrepreneur at heart and a self‑starter and aren't afraid to take on a lot of responsibility, right from the start.You welcome feedback and see mistakes as stepping stones to success.WHAT WE CAN OFFERPerformance‑based bonus – An discretionary annual variable bonus, and based on performance and company results.A free WeRoad trip every year – Choose your dream destination with €1,200/year travel discount or travel even more as a Travel Coordinator.Unlimited holiday – You are a master of your own time.Opportunities to learn – We invest in your growth with training and learning opportunities.New parent support – €3,600/year for 3 years after birth or adoption (or prorated if your child is under 3 when you start at WeRoad).Extra benefits – Meal vouchers (€8/day – when applicable), a €1,000 bonus for your wedding or civil union, and one‑off bonus when you hit 5 years with us.Fun – A vibrant co‑working space, team building and meet‑ups.READY TO APPLY?At WeRoad, cultural fit matters as much as skills.
