Career Opportunities with Flexjet EuropeCareers At Flexjet EuropeCurrent job opportunities are posted here as they become available.The AOG Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairs including airframe structures, engines, and aircraft systems. The AMT will make repairs and conduct tests to keep equipment operating efficiently and safely. The AMT will need to be self-sufficient and often be working in remote locations exposed to the elements.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESPerform all airframe and powerplant repairs and modifications required to meet company and regulatory requirementsRemove and disassemble defective parts; assemble and install replacement parts and test aircraft systemsOperate all power tools and equipment necessary to accomplish job assignmentsComplete all required maintenance records in an accurate manner to include accurately reporting of times required to accomplish the tasks assignedSupport all company policies and safety programs to include OSHA and EPA regulationsInterpret technical manuals, drawings, and blueprintsPresent a clean and neat work areaDemonstrate professionalism and deliver satisfaction to internal/external customersPerform other related duties & responsibilities as assignedEDUCATION & EXPERIENCEB1 or B1/B2 LicenseUK CAA and EASA LicenseProven experience directly related to aviation (corporate aircraft experience preferred)Type ratings on GVI and EMB550 desiredGood working knowledge of EASA/UK CAA: Part 145, Part M, Part CAMO, Part 21REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONSMust possess the legal ability to work in Europe and/or the UK and have the ability to travel in and out of the UK/EU and US and to all cities/countries where Flexjet serves.Successful candidate will be highly motivated and work effectively under pressure and time constraintsMust have the ability to multi-task within a team environmentStrong working knowledge of Windows and MS Office programsPossess proven inspection competenciesMust be detail-oriented and well organized; demonstrate excellent communication skills, and a positive attitudeSuccessful candidate will ideally have their own set of hand tools. Specialized aircraft tooling will be furnished by the companyMust maintain a valid driver’s licenseWORK ENVIRONMENTWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme weather conditions.
