Career Opportunities with Flexjet EuropeCareers At Flexjet EuropeCurrent job opportunities are posted here as they become available.The Aircraft Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs including airframe structures, engines and aircraft systems. This position will be based in Milan, Italy at Milan Linate Airport.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESPerform all airframe and powerplant repairs and modifications required to meet company and regulatory requirements.Remove and disassemble defective parts; assemble and install replacement parts and test aircraft systems.Operate all power tools and equipment necessary to accomplish job assignments.Complete all required maintenance records accurately, including reporting times required to accomplish assigned tasks.Support all company policies and safety programs, including OSHA and EPA regulations.Interpret technical manuals, drawings, and blueprints.Present a clean and neat work area.Demonstrate professionalism and deliver satisfaction to internal/external customers.Perform other related duties as assigned.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCEB1 or B1/B2 License.B1.3 for rotary aircraft desired.UK CAA and EASA License.Proven experience in aviation (corporate aircraft experience preferred).Type ratings on GVI, EMB550, and S76 desired.Good working knowledge of EASA/UK CAA: Part 145, Part M, Part CAMO, Part 21.REQUIRED SKILLSLegal ability to work in Europe and/or the UK and ability to travel in and out of the UK/EU and US.Highly motivated and able to work effectively under pressure and time constraints.Ability to multi-task within a team environment.Strong working knowledge of Windows and MS Office programs.Proven inspection competencies.Detail-oriented and well organized; excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.Ideally possess own set of hand tools; specialized aircraft tooling will be furnished by the company.Must maintain a valid driver’s license.WORK ENVIRONMENTWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to various extreme weather conditions, and the noise level in the work environment can be loud.PHYSICAL DEMANDSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
