We are currently in research and development but moving towards production environment.ResponsibilitiesChampion safety requirements in all designated zones and work locationsAssemble and test with emphasis to detail, an assortment of avionic LRUs, electrical‑mechanical assemblies, handle and install fiber‑optics, and PCBAsEnsure lab equipment is maintained and calibratedSupport some preventative maintenance activities on test equipment and data acquisition systemsIdentify equipment requirements, process improvements, maintain floor stock inventoryIndependently execute and prioritize work to meet company deliverablesExecute test procedures for component and system level testing maintenanceReceive shipments and coordinate deliveries with recipientsContribute to improving SOPs and safety proceduresCandidates must be 18 years or older with the ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines.Basic QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent1+ years in a high traceability manufacturing environment, or relevant trade school certification1+ years of hand tools experience (i.e., calipers, multimeters, torque wrenches)1+ years working with test tools and test methods that adequately validate the systemPreferred QualificationsAircraft & Powerplant (A&P) certification / license; prior telecom (fiber optics) experience a plusCFOT certification or equivalent experienceAirman or Avionic certification or equivalent experience; ASE certification or equivalent experienceExperience in fast‑paced production environment with flight hardwareAbility to use precision measuring instruments1+ years able to read, interpret and work from engineering documentation and / or drawingsExperience working with FOD, ESD sensitive hardware and clean room requirements1+ years of Electro‑Mechanical Assembly, Final Integration and / or Harness Integration experienceAbility to work effectively in a team environmentAbility to rapidly change roles / responsibilities while working in a high‑paced, challenging work environmentAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
