Quality Control ManagerCoordinator

OverviewSupport the implementation of the Project Quality Management System (PQMS) and supervise all Quality Control (QC) activities across the project. Act as the focal point for quality control matters within the project and in liaison with clients, subcontractors and external entities. This role encompasses both Manager and Coordinator levels depending on project size and complexity.Location and Experience LevelLocation: Project-based (International assignments)Experience Level: Mid to Senior (5-15 years)Key ResponsibilitiesSupport Project Quality Manager in defining the Project Quality Control SystemSupervise and coordinate all project Quality Control activities on sitePlan and allocate QC Supervisors Inspectors and vessel personnel across project areasEnsure application and updating of Quality Control Plans for all site worksVerify that tests controls and inspections are carried out according to Quality Control Plans/Inspection Test PlansConduct regular meetings with subcontractors and clients on QC mattersEnsure Quality Control management tool updating and site QC reporting preparationCheck completeness of inspection/control/test reports and ensure proper documentation filingVerify that site personnel and subcontractor personnel hold valid QC certificates and suitable equipmentSupport Project Manager/Project Quality Manager in relations with Client/Authorities on QC activitiesManage non-conformities and ensure proper control of non-conforming productsConduct external assessments to Vendors and Subcontractors Quality Control SystemsVerify preparation of Quality section of final dossier and As-Built documentationEnsure training of site personnel on QC topicsCollect project QC data for Project Quality Management ReviewsSupport lessons learned process managementFor vessel activities: Ensure project QC Plans comply with vessel requirements and operational profile; conduct QC inspection equipment inventory before demobilizationEducation & CertificationBachelors degree in Engineering or related technical fieldQuality Control/Quality Management certifications preferredExperienceCoordinator Level: 5-10 years in Quality Control rolesManager Level: 10-15 years with supervisory experienceStrong background in construction installation or fabrication QC activitiesExperience managing QC teams and subcontractor quality activitiesOil & gas offshore or engineering construction project experience requiredTechnical SkillsExpert knowledge of Quality Control Plans and Inspection Test PlansFamiliarity with industry standards (ASTM ASME ACI AWS API etc.)Understanding of construction sequences and planning for multiple disciplinesKnowledge of NDT methodologies and inspection instrumentsProficiency in QC management tools and databasesUnderstanding of welding processes and quality inspection requirementsCore CompetenciesClient management and stakeholder communicationProject coordination and leadershipSubcontractor/supplier management and controlResource allocation and workload managementConstruction sequences and mechanical operations knowledgeQuality training deliveryInstrument identification and calibration controlAdditional InformationIn SEGULA Technologies la diversità lequità e linclusione sono al centro della nostra politica delle risorse umane.
