Quality Control ManagerCoordinator

Overview Support the implementation of the Project Quality Management System (PQMS) and supervise all Quality Control (QC) activities across the project. Act as the focal point for quality control matters within the project and in liaison with clients, subcontractors and external entities. This role encompasses both Manager and Coordinator levels depending on project size and complexity. Location and Experience Level Location: Project-based (International assignments) Experience Level: Mid to Senior (5-15 years) Key Responsibilities Support Project Quality Manager in defining the Project Quality Control System Supervise and coordinate all project Quality Control activities on site Plan and allocate QC Supervisors Inspectors and vessel personnel across project areas Ensure application and updating of Quality Control Plans for all site works Verify that tests controls and inspections are carried out according to Quality Control Plans/Inspection Test Plans Conduct regular meetings with subcontractors and clients on QC matters Ensure Quality Control management tool updating and site QC reporting preparation Check completeness of inspection/control/test reports and ensure proper documentation filing Verify that site personnel and subcontractor personnel hold valid QC certificates and suitable equipment Support Project Manager/Project Quality Manager in relations with Client/Authorities on QC activities Manage non-conformities and ensure proper control of non-conforming products Conduct external assessments to Vendors and Subcontractors Quality Control Systems Verify preparation of Quality section of final dossier and As-Built documentation Ensure training of site personnel on QC topics Collect project QC data for Project Quality Management Reviews Support lessons learned process management For vessel activities: Ensure project QC Plans comply with vessel requirements and operational profile; conduct QC inspection equipment inventory before demobilization Education & Certification Bachelors degree in Engineering or related technical field Quality Control/Quality Management certifications preferred Experience Coordinator Level: 5-10 years in Quality Control roles Manager Level: 10-15 years with supervisory experience Strong background in construction installation or fabrication QC activities Experience managing QC teams and subcontractor quality activities Oil & gas offshore or engineering construction project experience required Technical Skills Expert knowledge of Quality Control Plans and Inspection Test Plans Familiarity with industry standards (ASTM ASME ACI AWS API etc.) Understanding of construction sequences and planning for multiple disciplines Knowledge of NDT methodologies and inspection instruments Proficiency in QC management tools and databases Understanding of welding processes and quality inspection requirements Core Competencies Client management and stakeholder communication Project coordination and leadership Subcontractor/supplier management and control Resource allocation and workload management Construction sequences and mechanical operations knowledge Quality training delivery Instrument identification and calibration control Additional Information In SEGULA Technologies la diversità lequità e linclusione sono al centro della nostra politica delle risorse umane.
