Our team builds products that customers love – from mesh routers to high‑performance wired networking devices – and we’re looking for you to join us in shaping the future of the connected home.OverviewWe are building a world‑class marketing organization and seeking a Principal Product Marketing Manager for our core Hardware portfolio. In this role you will develop an overarching marketing strategy that includes strategic business planning, market segmentation, and go‑to‑market (GTM) strategy. You will own product positioning and messaging, pricing, sales forecasting, research & insights, and provide thought leadership to both marketing and executive teams.This “end‑to‑end” owner for Product Marketing of eero’s hardware devices is expected to collaborate with cross‑functional teams in three primary areas:Product innovation and development roadmapLead GTM strategies for new core productsOversee the in‑market performance of the products across various customer segmentsProduct Marketing Managers work backwards from customer and industry requirements and connect the dots between eero capabilities and services to build and market the right portfolio of offerings. You will synthesize external and internal data, guide feature prioritization, and own the development of crisp, highly differentiated positioning and messaging at both the individual product and portfolio level.As a highly visible role, you will have an outsized impact. You are expected to be a seasoned product marketer with business acumen, deeply understand our customers (both B2C and B2B), and be comfortable teaching others as well as diving deep into new technologies. You’ll work closely with marketing, engineering, product management, sales, and customer‑facing teams to conceptualize, build, and launch new devices that meet the growing needs of our customer base.Key Job ResponsibilitiesStrategic Narrative, Messaging and PositioningDevelop a strategic narrative framework for messaging and positioning of eero’s hardware product portfolio and individual products and services, supporting global teams and cross‑line business.Deep Product ExpertiseMaintain deep product expertise by fostering a meaningful relationship with Product leadership; understand the technical and strategic considerations for our category and key insights needed for our hardware.World‑Class Go‑To‑Market ProgramDrive eero’s core hardware product portfolio strategy, creating and deploying strategies through the launch of new products and releases.Research & Customer InsightsOwn the hardware innovation roadmap for research & customer insights to ensure insights are integrated into short‑ and long‑term product and marketing strategies.Competitive LandscapeGather, analyze, and respond to competitive intelligence, including win/loss analysis, keeping customer‑facing teams confident and educated.Core Hardware Portfolio ManagementOwn pricing strategy, forecasting, and business & financial analyses, preparing and communicating detailed presentations to leadership.Marketing LeadServe as a marketing leader throughout the full hardware development lifecycle, interfacing with engineering and product management to drive new product development programs from concept to commercialization.Hardware Innovation & Road‑Map PlanningSupport early hardware roadmap concepts by gathering business and customer requirements, defining strategy, and driving marketing support to sales/customers.About the TeamThe Global Marketing Team brings the experience of strong, reliable Wi‑Fi to life through full‑funnel marketing initiatives focused on converting our audiences while maximizing our resources. Our customers include end users and small businesses and internet service providers, spanning B2C, B2B, and B2B2C. The team is highly results‑oriented and focuses on driving efficiencies and delivering against our sales and revenue goals.Basic QualificationsBachelor’s degree or higher in an associated discipline10+ years of demonstrable product marketing, GTM, product management, and/or program management experience with hardware or software programs (software experience is a plus)Proven track record of developing and delivering go‑to‑market plansSuperb written and verbal communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent time management skillsTechnical category experience or desire to become technically versed in the networking categoryPassion for experimentation, continuous learning, and a growth mindsetDetail‑oriented, but not afraid of failureCreativity with demonstrated examples of thinking outside the boxDeep understanding of research & insight, including developing research briefs and applying customer insights to product strategy, marketing programs, or business objectivesPreferred QualificationsMaster’s of Business Administration (MBA) preferredAbility to conceptualize, scope, and execute projects under strict deadlinesConfident, self‑motivated individual with strong bias for actionExperience driving new business segment or service launchesBoth technically deep and business savvy, able to interface with all levels and disciplinesUnderstanding of key business motions like forecasting, planning, P&L managementUnderstanding of B2C and B2B GTM motionsEqual Opportunity StatementAmazon is an equal‑opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.
