Our team builds products that customers love - from mesh routers to high‑performance wired networking devices - and we're looking for you to join us in shaping the future of the connected home.eero is looking to hire a Hardware System Engineering Program Manager (EPM) to lead a new initiative that will augment eero’s portfolio and provide new opportunities for eero growth in new markets. The EPM will work closely with Contract Manufacturers (CMs) on product development and provide updates to eero leadership. This effort will require superior engineering and communication skills to keep the programs on track and focused on success.Key job responsibilities Work closely with CM partners to develop industry leading eero products.Instill and evangelize a standard for hardware maturity. Help enforce engineering rigor and manage executive expectations.Structure our long‑range roadmap development. Queue up exploratory activities and stay abreast of industry trends and new technology development.Set the hardware schedule. Define the critical path and develop a build cadence that sets ambitious targets while managing risk.Be the hub for hardware communication. Act as the primary point of contact for overall hardware development.Track program risks and drive closure on engineering issues. Organize and host design maturity reviews and enforce project milestones.Experience with both wired and wireless networks.Minimum 25% international travel required for team collaboration, meeting external partners, and hardware build support.Basic Qualifications 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience5+ years of technical product or program management experienceExperience managing programs across cross‑functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedulesPreferred Qualifications 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experienceExperience managing projects across cross‑functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedulesExperience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi‑million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadershipOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
