HR Manager – People, Talent & Organizational DevelopmentPart-time, unpaid during the early phaseHybrid work model (remote and / or on-site in Milan, Doha – Qatar, or Boston)Travel and meeting expenses will be reimbursed upon approvalAn NDA must be signedThis position may evolve into HR Director or Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) , depending on contribution, leadership capacity, and organizational growth.About Institute Itech Institute Itech is an early-stage multinational company committed to building a new model of society grounded in education , advanced technology , and social development .Innovation projectsMemoria™ – AI-powered MedTech platform for cognitive healthOxyleaf™ – Synthetic plant systems for energy and environmental regenerationTerra™ – Subsurface environmental intelligence networksPolaris™ by IFE – AI-driven economic and geopolitical intelligenceBiocity™ – International doctoral and research programmeInstitute Itech is legally incorporated (USA, Italy) and is building a human-centered, research-driven organization with international reach.About the Role We are seeking an HR Manager to design, implement, and manage the human resources framework of Institute Itech during its early-stage development and beyond.This role is central to shaping the company’s talent strategy , organizational structure , recruitment processes , and people culture , ensuring alignment with research excellence, innovation, and ethical standards.The HR Manager will work directly with the CEO and leadership team and will progressively build the HR function as the organization scales.Responsibilities HR Strategy & OrganizationDefine and implement the overall HR strategy aligned with Institute Itech’s mission and growth plansDesign organizational structures, role frameworks, and reporting linesSupport the definition of career paths, leadership tracks, and succession planningRecruitment & Talent ManagementManage recruitment for strategic roles (C-level, managers, researchers, engineers, designers)Define selection processes, evaluation criteria, and interview frameworksCoordinate onboarding, integration, and probation processesPolicies, Compliance & GovernanceDraft and manage HR policies, internal regulations, codes of conduct, and NDAsEnsure compliance with labor laws and HR regulations (EU / international)Coordinate with legal, payroll, and external HR advisorsPerformance & CultureDevelop performance evaluation systems, KPIs, and feedback processesPromote a culture of accountability, inclusion, and ethical behaviorSupport leadership in conflict management and organizational well-being HR Development & ScalingBuild HR documentation, templates, and operational processesPrepare the organization for future scale (contracts, benefits, training programs)Support the evolution toward a structured HR Department Requirements5+ years of experience in Human Resources, Talent Management, or Organizational DevelopmentStrong knowledge of HR processes, recruitment, and people managementUnderstanding of labor law and HR compliance (Italy or EU frameworks)Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to work autonomously in early-stage and research-driven environmentsFluency in English (Italian is a strong plus)Preferred QualificationsExperience in startups, research institutions, or technology-driven organizationsFamiliarity with international or remote team managementKnowledge of performance management systems and HR analyticsSensitivity to diversity, mental health, and inclusive workplace practicesMotivation to grow into a Director-level or C-level HR roleBenefits ProvidedReimbursement of approved travel and HR-related meeting expensesStrategic role in shaping Institute Itech’s organizational DNADirect collaboration with executive leadership and scientific teamsOpportunity to evolve into HR Director or CHROAccess to internal tools, platforms, and professional developmentHow to Apply Please send:Your CVA Letter of Presentation (max 1 page) explaining :Your HR experience and leadership approachHow you would structure HR processes in an early-stage organizationWhy you want to join Institute ItechE-mail: Subject: WE2025 Job – HR Manager – (Name Surname)Time Commitment This is a non-paid position during the startup phase , requiring a minimum commitment of 4–6 hours per week .
