The role focuses on providing high-level technical expertise, both internally and directly to customers, ensuring optimal solutions and consistent technical standards. Task and Responsibilities: Provide technical support during the pre-sales phase, including customer requirements analysis, solution definition, and preparation of technical sales documentation. Collaborate with the Engineering department to define specifications, layouts, and plant solutions. Offer internal technical consultancy to design, manufacturing, supply chain, and commissioning teams. Serve as the main technical point of contact for the customer throughout project execution, addressing technical queries and clarifications. Collect technical feedback from projects to improve future standards and solutions. Contribute to the standardization of similar plants to optimize design time and costs. Lead the commissioning on field of the specific equipment under his responsibility Main Skills Strong Leadership, communication and team management abilities In-depth knowledge of production processes and technologies in the steel industry, with specific expertise in the operation of plants to produce long products (Bars and wire rod). Previous experience in managing complex products Goal oriented mindset, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage change effectively Intermediate to advanced mechanical knowledge Basic knowledge of electrical engineering Excellent command of the English language (Written and spoken) Requirements Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Metallurgical Engineering or equivalent. Minimum 5 years of technical-industrial experience, preferably in the steel industry. In-depth knowledge of steel plant processes and equipment. Ability to communicate complex technical matters to international customers. Willingness to travel internationally Work on construction site worldwide for the duration of the commissioning of the equipment under his responsibility.
