EURAM Livestock Milking and Automation Commercial LeaderRomaEUR 80.000 - giorni faPURPOSE OF THE ROLEThe EURAM Livestock Milking and Automation Commercial Leader is mainly responsible for executing the Milking and Automation portion of our dairy strategy. This role partners closely with global marketing, local sales leads and technical teams to coordinate the successful execution and deployment of our products, services and brands in the dairy space; the core activity would be to accelerate the technology solutions’ adoption, while executing launch excellence, according to our rich innovation roadmap. The role is responsible for presenting carefully outlined business cases to executive leadership.Ideal candidates are enthusiastic about innovations in animal health & welfare and sustainable food production, and about “Connecting Animals, People and Society for a Smarter Future”. Ideal candidates are a self‑starter able to achieve mutual goals, while being willing to embrace change and the transformation of the combined Technology and Biopharma business.PRINCIPAL TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIESLeads the development of EURAM commercial plans for products including price, customer experience, sales collateral, and forecasting for the dairy monitoring solutionsPartners with the SenseHub Behaviour Monitoring Lead to strategically position our Milking and Automation solutions to better support customer expansion and retentionPartners with the Global Technology Roadmap Lead to successfully execute the dairy strategy, while we position the EURAM innovation needs also feeding the global pipeline and roadmap accordingly.Driven by customer centricity, the role understands the value drivers of our existing and new customers, the industry and public policy identifying unmet demands and generates input to the strategic direction of the Milking and Automation portfolio and business modelsCreates BU Directors and GMs relationships and establish regular collaboration and fluid communicationMaintains engagement, regular feedback and clear communication with internal stakeholders (R&D Tech Labs and Data Labs, Marketing, Commercial, Commercial Operations, Customer Support) including MAH Local, Regional and Global teamsLooks for external partners, traditional and non-traditional stakeholders in the milk industry and automation, including the data spaceIs responsible for piloting projects in collaboration with Global, Regional and Local teams realizing scalability and geo expansion of Proof of Concepts and InnovationsLEADERSHIP BEHAVIORSDemonstrate Ethics & IntegrityDrive ResultsCustomer CentricityMake Rapid Disciplined DecisionsAct with Courage & CandorBuild TalentInfluencing without hierarchical authorityPROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIESBusiness & Financial AcumenStrategic and Innovative ThinkingProject ManagementProductive CommunicationProblem SolvingCORE COMMERCIAL FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIESCustomer, Market and Industry InsightsStrategic Business ManagementAccount ManagementMarket AccessRegulatory & Compliance KnowledgeKnowledge of Technology in the Farming EnvironmentExpertise in Livestock Monitoring, Milking and AutomationMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSBackground & Education: Minimum a Bachelor or equivalent degree in marketing, commercial, technology, agriculture or related fieldsRequired Skills / Abilities: Must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in sales roles in the technology or agricultural field; Deep understanding of the dairy industry and milking operations; Must have proven experience in managing projects; Excellent organizational and leadership skillsCommercial awareness partnered with a strategic mindset: Must be a self‑starter that takes pride in their work product and is focused on delivering results; Demonstrate a forward thinking, agile and strategic approach; Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a change environment; Ability to quickly develop positive relationships with internal and external partners; Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Any additional language is a plus.Ability to work independently and as part of a team: Ability to travel overnight and some weekend activity.
