Primary Responsibilities Manage the general contractors in accordance with contractual requirements, design documents, scopes of work, schedules, quality standards, budget, and all applicable building codes. Assist as needed in Permit Applications. Assist Senior Construction Manager in selection of GC & SubcontractorsConstructionInsure that the construction is in accordance with the plans and specifications. Regularly inspect the work of the contractor and sub-contractors. Attend regular meetings with the contractor and architect (OAC meetings). Operational problem solving and expediting. Monitoring of the construction schedule. Initiate RFI’s as needed to provide needed information to the Field, following RFI process. Ensure jobsite is clean, orderly and secure; Conduct random inspections as appropriate. Ensure Quality is maintained. Walk through and acceptance of completed work. Manage the turnover of units with the Senior Construction Manager from the general contractor. Walk through the units to ensure that all the correct selections, options and upgrades are installed correctly and to the highest quality. Assist in the walk through of units with our clients and acceptance. Manage the punch list and warranty efforts of the general contractor.
